Called & Gifted

When you were baptized, you were given gifts of the Holy Spirit (charisms) that enable you to be a channel of God’s love, truth, beauty, and mercy for others. Discovering your charisms is key to living out your God-given mission and vocation.

The Called & Gifted Discernment Process is designed to help you learn about charisms and lead you through the process of discovering your own.

Step 1
Initial Workshop

The initial workshop will take place either as either an in-person weekend gathering or as a 5-week virtual series.

The workshop features video presentations, small group discussion, and a gifts inventory.

Step 2
Individual Interview

For those who wish to continue the discernment process after the initial workshop, the next step is to meet individually with a trained interviewer to explore your own story of faith and the charisms most active in your life.

Step 3
Discernment in Depth

The final step is an in-depth continuation of the discernment process with small group support to “experiment” with one particular charism in your day-to-day life.

This is held over an additional four sessions.
