St. Kateri Tekakwitha Activity

Kateri Tekakwitha was a young Mohawk woman who lived in the 17th century. The story of her conversion to Christianity, her courage in the face of suffering and her extraordinary holiness is an inspiration to all Christians. Follow us as we share with you the life of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, the first Native American Saint in the United States of America and Canada.

Join us for a virtual lesson from Monsignor Robert Schulte, pastor of St. Jude Parish in Fort Wayne Indiana. Monsignor Schulte, a beloved pastor and former vicar general for the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, will share his personal devotion to St. Kateri Tekakwitha that started when he was a young man and how she greatly influenced his vocation to the priesthood.

And Chaplet of Divine Mercy with Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades

Thanks to generous support from Our Sunday Visitor, we invite all families, especially our religious education families, our Catholic School families, and Catholic scouting families to join us for a virtual lesson from Father Anthony Gramlich, MIC, the rector of the National Shrine of Divine Mercy. We will learn about the life of St. Faustina Kowalska and Christ’s message of Divine Mercy. We will conclude by praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy with Bishop Rhoades.
