FEMM Introduction for young adult women

7:30pm – 9:00pm

If you are a young adult woman interested in learning more about what a healthy fertility cycle looks like and how to track your biomarkers, please join us for a free, four-session workshop series on the campus of Saint Mary’s College. There is no need to register.. Come to the first session described below and decide if you want to continue. Co-sponsored by Marriage & Family Ministry, Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, and the Department of Nursing Science, Saint Mary’s College. For more information, including directions on where to park, please visit www.diocesefwsb.org/femm.

FEMM Introduction

Wednesday, February 15th, 7:30 to 9:00 PM

123 Regina Hall

Saint Mary’s College

Participants are introduced to FEMM (Fertility Education & Medical Management) as a model for women’s reproductive health, presented by certified FEMM instructors. A woman’s reproductive health is closely tied to the state of her general health and to the delicate interplay of certain hormones within her body. The sufficient production of these hormones can be tracked throughout each cycle, as indicators of both health and fertility. FEMM enables women to become informed participants in their own healthcare. Presenters will field questions at the end of the session. In addition, a sign-up sheet will be available at the end of the session so that the instructors know how many women plan to track their biomarkers. Refreshments will be served at the end of the workshop.
